The Law Offices of Chris Johns and Associates is a Jacksonville-based accident firm that prides itself on delivering aggressive and professional individual legal representation to each client, and to treating each client as we would like to be treated. At our firm, you will meet with one of our three attorneys at the free initial consultation to discuss your accident claim - not an investigator or assistant - and your case will be handled by an attorney, not an assistant or case manager. Having an attorney personally handle your accident case is one of the qualities that sets our firm apart from the other Personal Injury Law Firms. Many other personal injury lawyers will send an investigator to meet with you at your initial consultation and then your case will be handled by a case worker, not an attorney.
Additionally, at our firm, the only way we are paid is if YOU are paid FIRST. Meaning We work on what is called a contingency fee agreement: we are paid a percentage of what you receive, if and ONLY if you you are paid first. If for some reason you are not paid, then our firm will not be paid attorney fees, money for the time we spent on your case, or for costs we may have spent on your case. (Our contract will explain this in more detail.)

Attorney Profile: Chris Johns
Chris Johns is the owner and founding member of the Law Firm. Mr. Johns was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He is married to Kristina Johns, and they have two children.
Mr. Johns has been a lawyer since 1991. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Law School in 1990 and has been practicing in Jacksonville ever since. Prior to starting his own firm in 1996, he worked as an insurance defense attorney representing insurance companies in personal injury claims. Since starting his own firm, Mr. Johns has devoted 100% of his practice to representing people that were injured in accidents against insurance companies.
Mr. Johns and his firm pride themselves on personalized individual service to each and every client. Unlike many other personal injury/accident firms, you will meet with one of the attorneys in the firm at your first consultation and throughout your case, not an investigator or case manager. Attorney Profile: Zachary Von Roenn
Zachary Von Roenn earned his bachelor's degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He then moved to Jacksonville in 2003 to attend the Florida Coastal School of Law. He graduated and passed the bar in 2006.
While attending law school, Zachary served as a clerk with an insurance defense firm before joining the Law Offices of Chris Johns as a law clerk in 2004. He was hired as an associate attorney with the firm in 2006, and in 2011 was named partner.
Outside of the office, Zachary enjoys fishing, working in his yard, running, and watching Jaguars and Packers football.
Attorney Profile: Glenn Gaver
Glenn F. Gaver attended the University of South Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law, where he received a doctorate of law and was a two-year member of the Mock Trial Team. He has been accepted to and is an active member of the Florida Bar and Jacksonville Bar Association.
Mr. Gaver chose to specialize in personal injury law after a clerkship in law school exposed him to the power of helping accident victims who are faced with a painful recovery. Today, Mr. Gaver works with his clients to ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
As a previous high school English teacher and political speechwriter in Washington, D.C., Mr. Gaver learned that no challenge is too great. He brings that same outlook - along with personal attention - to each client’s case.
In his spare time, Mr. Gaver enjoys sports, cycling, reading, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
